Bio:

As a senior human resources consultant, Peter Kane has over 35 years of progressive experience as a Human Resources Generalist. Pete has worked for small, medium and large sized companies, public and private, in agriculture, aerospace manufacturing, biotechnology, and life science organizations. He most recently served as the Director of Human Resources for a major life sciences organization in La Jolla, California. During his six years there, he helped them to define their culture, establish a high-quality recruitment program; create an on-boarding program, along with establishing a solid infrastructure which allowed the organization to grow rapidly to over 1200 employees.

Pete earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from San Diego State University. He is a long-time board member with the Compensation and Benefits Association of San Diego; was the founder and board member for the Biotech Employee Development Coalition (BEDC); is current board member and VP of Workforce Readiness for the San Diego Chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management, and currently sits on the board of the San Diego Center for Children.
