JT has a financial background that includes a CPA and MBA. He has been in the insurance industry since 1978. JT has structured and serviced credit insurance policies since 1984. He has worked as an insurance broker and sold for an insurance company. JT moved to the West Coast in 2002 from Chicago.

JT formed Thomas Trade Insurance in the summer of 2011. It is a specialist insurance brokerage firm. He only structures and services credit insurance policies. Credit insurance is insurance on trade receivables. Policies can be designed to cover domestic sales, export sales, or both. They can cover one buyer, a group of buyers, or all of a company’s buyers. Thomas Trade Insurance is licensed in all states west of the Mississippi and several in the east.
