Networking, that activity that a few love and many others love to hate but still need to do is the focus of our next meeting on July 21st at 7:30AM.   Joining San Diego Business Resources will be Casey Delorme from Getspine Communications. He is a professional publicist, social media expert and networking guru.  He will be giving us his presentation entitled, Networking for Sales (and Love) and drawing some parallels between the two.

Networking: A ritual among successful salespeople, politicians and power-brokers. To the outsider, it can appear daunting, sometimes shallow and even clique-like. A practice reserved for those born with a gift for it. Surprisingly, successful person/professional networking mirrors picking someone up in the romantic sense. (Hint: It’s NOT about the pickup line.) This conversation uses that framework to present an effective strategy for finding, meeting and getting to know those critical to your network. The benefits reach beyond sales and job offers—they touch on the personal side, enriching your social life, friendships and can even spark a little romance.
