I have been involved in the credit card processing industry since 1993. Prior to that, I was with a national steakhouse chain for 16 years, and my experience ranged from unit manager to Vice-President. I then owned and operated an action sports retail/wholesale business in San Diego. Since 2008, I have been involved in the training and mentoring of new PPDirect reps on Visa/MasterCard Interchange rates, which have become increasingly difficult to understand. This understanding is very important when it comes to evaluating a merchants current processing fees.
